I'm proud of my skin

I am an Asian ( Filipino Specifically) and have a dark skin which most American loves. When I arrived here in the US and meet friends I keep getting praise from them about my natural tan skin. I was flattered and realize how fortunate I am for I have the skin that they all dream to have. I am so lucky that I didn‘t have to spend thousands of bucks just to have my natural tan skin, unlike those American Woman who spend lots of money for indoor tanning lotion and spend lots of time in the sun just to have a tan skin. I honestly admit that I used to spend lots of money for a whitening lotion because I want to have a whiter skin, But not anymore, I am now proud of my skin color;)
